Beta HCG Graph

HCG values are often difficult to interpet and can be meaningless without clinical correlation. This tool can be used to help visualize and assess HCG value in the context of what the normal and expected HCG values should be based on gestational age. Either use the graphs alone to assess HCG values, or enter your own HCG values to determine how they relate to the standard values. Values too high may be suggestive of multiple pregnancies or molar pregnancies while values too low may suggest failed, miscarriage, or ectopic pregnancies.

An abnormal value alone should never be used to diagnose a condition. Ultrasounds, verification of gestational ages, trends in multiple HCG values, and the clinical setting should all be used to make an appropriate decision.

All calculations must be confirmed before use. The suggested results are not a substitute for clinical judgment.
