GTN WHO Prognostic Scoring Calculator
As part of FIGO staging, a prognostic score (or risk) is calculated to determine the optimal treatment course. Below is a WHO prognostic score calculator to aid in clinical decision making for determining whether a patient should be assigned to single agent or multi-agent chemotherapy.
-
The age of the patient
-
The type of pregnancy which brought on this GTN
-
The number of months since the index pregnancy
-
The beta-hCG prior to chemotherapy
-
The size of the largest tumour on imgaging (including any tumour inside the uterus)
-
The size of the largest tumour on imgaging (including any tumour inside the uterus)
-
Select the most advanced (right most) site of metastases identified on imaging. Note, if CT-head imaging is negative but suspicion is high for neurological involvement, consider a CSF analysis for hCG.
-
Select which treatment has already been attempted.
